Commander Ryota bowed out of respect to the Fire Lord and quickly ran through the royal palace to the barracks were the royal assassins lived. Ryota opened the door the the large barracks, Ryota interrupted their training as he spoke aloud gaining everyone's attention. "We have urgent orders Harbor city is being held ransom by rebels and they will kill everyone unless we stop them. Our orders is to kill all the rebels while keeping civilians alive, Now follow me." Ryota ran in a hurry as 50 assassins followed him from behind. Ryota made it to the courtyard were royal guards were stationed, He rounded up 100 of the best Fire Benders and 50 of the Fire Nations best Yu Yan Archers. Ryota gathered all the troops on the back side of Caldera City were new hot air balloon were ready and waiting. These new balloons were big enough to carry at least 20 men "All right men pile in fit as many as you can into each balloon were going down the side of the mountain." Soon 5 war balloons were up in the air and drifting down the side of the mountain, though from the extra wait they descended rather fast. They landed with a crash in the forest below at least 10 men had died from the crash and more wounded, Ryota was lucky and landed without to much trouble. "We cant stop now leave the dead and anyone who cant walk suck it and get a move on." Ryota said in a cold tone "I want all the royal guards to move around the left side of the mountain and position themselves in the woods to the left of the village Yu Yan Archers are to go with me and provide support if needed. The assassin group moves with me, we go around the right side and attack the village from the right. Our job is to drive the rebels in the city to the royal guards, remember the civilians are our fist priority protect them with your life."
outskirts of harbor city-
As the assassins moved stealthily from rooftop to rooftop the houses they ran across were empty, all the citizens had been moved to new locations around the city and guarded by the rebels. Ryota and the assassins had made it deep into the city before they spotted were some civilians were being kept. From what Ryota could tell all the children were gathered in the town center in the plaza, Fire benders crowded around them ready to burn them without a second thought. "Find the other villagers and hurry." Ryota gave the order to a assassin who took 20 others in search of the missing villagers. 30 minutes went by before the Fire benders lowered their guard noticeably Haro must have got the message from the Fire Lord giving him his false surrender. Ryota had Yu Yan Archers positioned under cover on every side of the plaza, Ryota had no fear of the archers hitting a child with a stray arrow for Yu Yan Archer's never missed their target. Ryota received a message that his assassin group had found were they kept the other civilians. Ryota sighed but he knew Haro was to cunning for that he had more civilians hidden but Ryota was running out of time. A Boy who looked to be about 13 took the opportunity to knock down a guard and try and run for it. A Rebel Bender was preparing to kill him when Ryota shouted out "Attack! Attack NOW!" A hail or arrows from Yu Yan Archers met their mark as a number of rebels fell dead. The bender had released a fire ball towards the Kid but was blocked away by Ryota's own fire ball saving his life by inches. The boy wouldn't escape without some minor burns but at least he was alive. Fire benders attacked in every direction striking out at the sky and buildings as more and more fell to the Yu Yan Archers. Assassins attacked from the roof tops with their won bending killing rebels running through the streets. Ryota jumped from the roof and into the crowd of benders, He created a fire wall around the children which nearly made him faint from exertion. the sounds of combat echoed through the city and fires started to burn their way through the city. The Archers and the assassins forced the rebels through the city moving the forces west and into the path of the ambush set by the royal guards. I fare blst knocked Ryota from the circle and into the plaza filled with the dead. "This little ambush of yours saved a few but our Fire Lord Haro has others hidden and will kill them out of spite for this treachery." The general of the rebels said in a clam demeanor. Ryota quickly jumped from the ground and onto his feet. his feet were shaky at best.
"Sorry for you but I have orders not to let a single rebel live." Ryota said while taking his fighting stance. "You think you can kill me little brat, I will burn you till nothing is left but ashes!" The general took a wide stance facing Ryota his arms channeled long whips of fire which lashed out striking at Ryota. Ryota could barely dodge the attack by using fire bending to propel himself over the fire. Ryota took out his sword while in mid air, Fire engulfed the blade. Ryota held the sword high over his head and swung down in the direction of the general. A disk of fire shot out from the tip of the blade screeching as it flew in his direction. The general retaliated by unleashing a fire wall on the ground in from of him, his foolish attempt to block the attack failed as it pierced through the wall with little effort and sliced the general's arm off at the shoulder. A scream of pain rang out in the plaza as Ryota fell to the ground. Ryota used his sword to prop himself up and steadily walked to the frantic general. the general had cauterized the wound to stop the bleeding "You will pay for this!" His words spat from his mouth as he raised his left hand up to use his fire bending. He failed as the silver sword swung out slicing his hand off at the elbow. A final scream from the general was cut short by Ryota as a fire blast left the general with a charred face. Ryota looked around as his vision began to fade. The children were safe and the rebels had been removed from the village, but 1000 men at the base of Caldera city now knew the village was attacked and began to move to the city to burn it to ashes. Ryota used the final bit of his strength to cast a ball of fire high into the air. This would signal to the Fire Lord that the village was safe, hopefully he would order his men guarding Caldera city to attack the rebels making their way to Harbor city.
