Agni Kai Vlace Vs Kai (cannon)

Vlace followed suit facing the other way. They were picked randomly to face each other, names picked out of a hat and he felt bad for the other person. Another thing that needed to change about his cousin, another way his cousin was evil. He hadn't picked a weapon, as he felt that his bending would see him through, and barely glanced at the pile. He was calm. He couldn't care less about dieing and he had done this 100 times over and won them all. He would be the heavily favored to win. Everyone knew that.

And as the crowd cheered he was flexing his arms. And when the referee anounced the two contestants he couldn't even hear who he was facing cause of the noise. When he heard the referee tell him to bow when the battle started and then shout go, he turned around and his heart stopped. when he saw who it was. This was another reason the cousin would die. The world would love to see this. He raised his hands and sent a weak fire ball at her. His heart was all of the sudden on the other side of the ring. He didn't want to win all of the sudden.

Vlace blocked the fireball with ease but redirected not at her but down into the ground. Vlace let the punch land and rolled with the punch and even then it still smarted. Vlace moved backwards when he had gotten back up and shot four quick fireballs that a blind person could of dodged. He was surprised at her ferocity but then again... Most people don't like to die, no matter who they are facing. She was in the zone and he could tell.

This was going to be a long day.

Vlace saw her coming at him and almost smiled. This would have been so simple. She would already be gone by now... Except for his stupid heart. She threw the left hook at his body leaving herself completly open to dodge and blast move but he let the left hand hit his chest and he flung himself back making it look really good. He hit the ground and got up slowly to his feet. Much slower than he usually would have.

His mind flashed back to his child hood, hanging out with her cousin, and seeing her around all the time. He had fallen madly in love. And watched her from afar. But she never noticed him and it drove him mad. He tried to do what he was best at, fire bend and spar her cousin in front of her and impress her some how. He was reckless risking his life over and over again... something to get her attention. But it never worked. He could only ever bring himself to say her name once or twice say hi a few dozen times, nothing though that would give away his interest. And he started traveling knowing that he had to get away or he would never get over it. The only person he had ever told was his cousin, and now...

Vlace threw a powerful fire ball at her but it veered away at the last second hitting somewhere behind her. He looked at her and smiled and threw another bolt of fire. The same thing happened.

Vlace had to lose, but he had to make it look good that way no one knew the truth. No one but himself and his cousin

Kai thought she might have known this man from somewhere, but she couldn't stop to think about it now, the arena turned her into an animal but she was still smart and knew her game .

With each fireball shot and dodge she got closer and closer to her opponent, and when she finally closed the distance she ducked down to avoid anything he could do then suddenly she would pop up and attempt to grab his throat and push him into the wall right behind him and if she got his throat she would hold his head in place with her grip and start to throw extremely hard punches at his head repeatedly.

He let her get him into the postion with her hand across his throat. There were so many ways he could have broken out or dodged the attack but he just let it happen. He dodged her first blow to the head and he smiled with his cocky infuriating smile, that not many people can forget, had they seen him enough and said, "You know... I always imagined you touching me... But this... this is not what I expected. But I guess it will work."

Vlace laughed at the knee blow redirecting the blow away with his hand and it landed in is thigh. He grimaced from the pain but put the pain in the back of his mind. In a quick movement he swept his other leg under her's and stepped forward with his elbow driving it toward her stomach and knocking the fist blows away easily with his other hand. His neck was a little burned and it showed but nothing unbearable.

Vlace smiled again. This time letting it fly. 'Didn't your mom ever tell you to never play with fire." That was something her mom always told the cousin and Vlace when they would come in burned real bad.

Vlace felt her grappling him so he lit his arms on fire putting some juice into it. The flame quickly turned to blue and was extremly hot even to him. He looked away quickly then back at her. If she remained in contact for more than a second she would be burned badly. Vlace saw her turning into him and smiled. A second might be more than enough.

Vlace was shocked when she continued with the move and didn't even care that he got thrown to the ground. The breath was knocked out of his body and he shot up with his hands before she could drive the foot down a blast of fire toward her body. He quickly rolled away trying to get air into his body and stood up squaring himself up to her

Vlace saw the damage he had done to her and he cursed himself. He looked out into the crowd and looked at this cousin with pleading eyes begging for an intervention. He knew it wasn't going to come when the cousin shook his head no. Vlace looked at Kai, as he was still getting his breath fully back, and through six quick fireballs in quick succession at her.
